United Nations Third Committee session on Rights of Children

 

New York, 15 October 2010 - Deputy Permanent Representative Ms Simona Leskovar, Charge d'affaires a.i., addressed today Third Committee under agenda item on Rights of Children.

Promotion and protection of children’s rights is one of the priorities of the Slovenian foreign policy in the field of human rights and development cooperation. Slovenia pays particular attention to the issues of violence against children, children and armed conflict, participation of children and their access to justice as well as human rights education.
