The Republic of Slovenia and Solomon Islands established diplomatic relations

 

New York, 18 November 2010 - Ambassador Sanja Štiglic, Permanent Representative of Slovenia to the UN and Ambassador Collin D. Beck, Permanent Representative of Solomon Islands to the UN signed the Joint Communiqué on the establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Republic of Slovenia and Solomon Islands.

The Ambassadors stressed the importance of the formal establishment of diplomatic relations and agreed to further strengthen the already existing good relations and cooperation between the two countries and the Permanent missions in New York on all issues of common concerns.
