The Republic of Slovenia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo established diplomatic relations

 

New York, 25 February 2011 - Ambassador Sanja Štiglic, Permanent Representative of Slovenia to the UN and Ambassador Ileka Atoki, Permanent Representative of the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the UN signed the Joint Communiqué on the establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Republic of Slovenia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The Ambassadors stressed the importance of strengthening the already existing good relations and cooperation between the two countries and the Permanent missions in New York on all issues of common concern.
