The Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Malawi established diplomatic relations

 

New York, 21 July 2011 - Ambassador Sanja Štiglic, Permanent Representative of Slovenia to the UN and Ambassador Brian G. Bowler, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Malawi to the UN signed the Joint Communiqué on the establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Malawi.

The Ambassadors emphasized that the formal establishment of diplomatic relations is a sign of friendship between the countries and agreed that this historic event will strengthen the cooperation between Slovenia and Malawi on all areas of mutual interest.
